Tommy Thunder was an impressive winner of an Irish Point to Point in the Spring. He looked very weak on arrival and has since summered particularly well and has strengthened accordingly. He is now back in training, doing his road work. We have heard very good reports on him from Ireland since his purchase and he should give somebody a lot of fun for the forthcoming National Hunt season.

Quicolai is a big strong, striking individual who was in light training as a 3 year old but needed another summer at grass. He is now back in full work, schooling well and showing promise on the gallops. Shake The Barley was a winner of a point to point in Ireland as a 4 year old and was in training with us last season. He had a few runs over hurdles and showed plenty of promise on the gallops. He proved to be rather weak as he didnt finish his races as expected. He has summered incredibaly well and strengthened up immensely. He will be geared towards a Novice Chase campaign and be ready to run in October. He is very similar to a close relation of his who I trained, ACT IN TIME, who did well when transferred to fences. An attractive, sharp filly, She was bought by us as a yearling and broken in as a 2 year old. She has been in light training as a 3 year old, cantered nicely and learnt the basics of jumping. She will be prepared to run in bumpers when she turns a 4 year old in January.
